A Japanese robot harvests peppers in a greenhouse with millimeter accuracy.
The Japanese agro-technical startup "AGRIST" presented a new robot, "L," with artificial intelligence. The device uses artificial intelligence and different types of cameras to determine the ripeness of the fruit with millimeter accuracy. Also, the robot monitors the greenhouse and, with the information received, makes it easier for farmers to manage their farms.
According to the developers, the device will make the harvesting process in the greenhouse faster and more efficient, reducing the need for human resources and operating costs.
